The new Jewish cemetery in Gliwice, located at ul. J. Poniatowski, was established in the years 1902–1903 and covers an area of 1.7 ha, where about six hundred tombstones have been preserved. In November 1905, the pre-burial house, which still stands, was put into use, and in 1932 a monument to Jewish soldiers who died during World War I was built.
The necropolis still serves burial purposes.
